WebGatling guns do a good job against small fast targets like other SG fighters due to the high rate of fire. Auto cannons are better against small LG ships, slower rate of fire but decent punch so you can take out the important bits like weapons and thrusters. Assault cannons are better against stationary targets such as bases.
