That means you won't be able to even read your data without a working Synology box or a virtualized/physical XPenology instance, which is most probably stuck on DSM 6.2 and will not go any further. WebYou can only convert SHR-1 to SHR-2 by adding an additional disk. Since you can't do that, your only option is to copy your data out, redo the storage pool as a SHR-2, then copy your data back in.
