Webthe new bitdefender uses way too much RAM It's basically what the title says BitDefender uses too much RAM for an antivirus. It was literally using 15-25% of my 16GB of RAM and that was making my RAM usage go up to 40-50% used RAM on idle. Now after I completely uninstalled It my RAM Usage suddenly went down to only using 25-30% idle. WebIf you know someone will use the machine improperly, like your moms pc, the free version of bitdefender works fine. If you are one of those nut jobs who thinks nothing bad can ever happen to you, turn off windows defender, put up an ad blocker, and keep separate daily backups for when reality kicks your arrogant ass and you catch something.
